General Info for visiting Oak Terrace

Oak Terrace Nursing Home is located on West Washington in Springfield. Visiting hours are from 9am to 9pm, except during meals at 8- 12-5pm. You do not need to sign in at the front desk, but we do ask that you sign in on the St Paul's Folder in the Activites Room. Currently Cathy and Destiny are the activities directors and are very helpful- ask for them if they are not in the room. If you are not sure who to visit, ask any of the staff who they feel would benefit from a visitor. Please keep a list of who you visit and enter their room numbers and/or first names in the St Paul Folder so the staff can enter your visit in their chart. It also helps you and other people from St Paul's to see who was seen during your last visit. Destiny also told me that dogs are welcome at Oak Terrace. They must be on a leash and they are not welcome during meals. Cathy told me she needs help during Pamper Time/Nail Care and during Wii bowling which is every Monday at 4pm. I have posted the Activity Calendar in the cafe so you can help during these activities. You don't need to spend any more than an hour but as Rose said after her first visit, she had forgotton how much fun it can be visiting the elderly.
